City Works Eatery and Pour House asked us to help increase orders for their virtual kitchens, Rebels Hot Chicken and Secret Sauce Barbecue. Our solution? Fresh photography for both brands.

While both kitchens shared a similar style—food shot on a table at City Works—they each had unique identities. Rebels Hot Chicken, inspired by Tyler Durden, had a grungy, casual vibe. In contrast, Secret Sauce Barbecue evoked warmth and nostalgia, reminiscent of grandma's cooking.

With a limited budget, we couldn't hire a crew, so we learned to manage the lighting and set-up ourselves and conducted numerous test shoots to perfect it. Plus, we thrifted most of the props used in the photos. The end result? Delicious.
